Winsford Town Council is thrilled to announce the launch of the fourth year Winsford Decides initiative, an exciting opportunity for residents to have a direct say in how local funds are spent.

Empowering the Community

Winsford Decides 2025 is all about empowering residents to shape Winsford’s future through Participatory Budgeting (PB). This democratic process lets community members decide how to allocate a portion of public funds, ensuring everyone has a voice in local decisions.

How It Works

Winsford Town Council has set aside £25,000 for local projects. Each community group can apply for funding of up to £5,000.

Residents will hear the project proposals on 26th March 2025 at Winsford Academy, starting at 7:00 pm.
Attendees will then vote for their favourite projects, and the winners will be announced that night!
