The Town Mayor of Winsford, Councillor Wayne Fletcher, will be holding an “Oscars Awards Evening.” The event will take place at the Meadow Bank Social Club on Saturday, 26th April 2025, at 6:00 pm.

Do you know someone who has helped you, someone who has made a fabulous contribution to our community, or achieved something really special?

You can show that you are proud of someone you know by completing this nomination form and returning it to the Town Council by Friday, 28th March 2025.

Categories & Qualification Criteria

To Qualify

Resident Nominees:

  1. Must live in the parish of Winsford.
  2. Must not currently hold public office or have been a candidate in the past 10 years.

Business Nominees:

  1. Must operate in the parish of Winsford.
  2. If applicable, must have their registered office in Winsford.

To Nominate

Nominations will be considered by an independent panel, headed by the Mayor. Successful nominees will be notified.

  2. Teacher of the Year
  3. Community Group of the Year
  4. Young Carer of the Year
  5. Uniformed Services Worker of the Year
  6. Young Person of the Year
  7. Neighbour of the Year
  8. Delivery Driver of the Year
