PLATINUM JUBILEE GRANT SCHEME

CRITERIA

Winsford Town Council’s Jubilee Grant Scheme is designed specifically to assist groups of residents to organise their own local neighbourhood community events to celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.

  • The grants must be used for events taking place between 2nd-5th June 2022 to purchase items which benefit multiple households within a neighbourhood.  Example of expenditure would typically include bunting, tablecloths, paper plates, hats, signage and road closure fees (if applicable).
  • All grants will be for £70 with the number of grants capped at 20. 
  • Grants will be allocated on a first come first served basis.
  • All grant requests will require 3 named applicants all from separate households.
  • All 3 named applicants must live within the Winsford Town Council boundary, proof of name & address such as a copy of a recent utility bill must be included with the application form.
  • All 3 named applicants must be resident in close proximity to the event and to the other two applicants.  (All 3 named applicants must be from different addresses.)
  • All events must take place within the Winsford Town Council boundary.
  • Grants will be paid by bank transfer to the account detailed in the completed application form. 
  • Photographs of the celebration must be shared with Winsford Town Council via email – mail@winsford.gov.uk for social media use.
  • Grant applications must be received by Winsford Town Council before noon on 25th May 2022.
