Winsford Decides is an opportunity to make your project happen.
Winsford Town Council has £25,000 to distribute via Participatory Budget. The initiative lets the local community decide for themselves which projects are needed and should be funded in their area.
You don’t have to come from an existing local organisation to apply for this fund, but all activities will have to happen in Winsford and benefit local people. All successful applicants will require an organisation to act as their banker if no bank account of their own.
What can you apply for?
We need your ideas for new or existing projects that will benefit Winsford.
Whether you want to organise a healthy living project, have a crime prevention idea, lunch a club for older residents, support the youth or a community art project, this fund is for you! These are just examples. The only limit is your imagination.
Who can apply?
Any local community, voluntary or non-profit organisation can apply to this fund – even informal groups. Funding of £250 to £5000 is available to put each idea into action.
How do you apply?
To apply for the funding, you must complete the below form, deadline for all applications is 3rd February 2023 at 17:00.
A voting event will take place on Thursday 23rd February at Winsford Academy, 6:30pm you will be required to present your idea to the community. Those in attendance will then vote on all the applications presented, with a decision about your application being made on the day.
