1. APOLOGIES FOR ABSENCE

3. MINUTES – To sign as a correct record, the Minutes of the meeting of the Finance Committee held on 17^th April 2019           (‘A’)

 

4. ARISING – any points of clarification from the above minutes.

 

5. ACCOUNTS FOR APPROVAL

Schedule ‘B’ lists payments made since the last meeting

Schedule ‘C’ lists accounts for approval at this meeting

Schedule ‘D’ lists supplementary accounts for approval (to follow)

 

6. BANK ACCOUNT MONTHLY RECONCILIATION STATEMENTS

Financial probity recommends monthly reconciliation of the Town Council’s accounts. (‘E’)

 

7. INTERNAL/EXTERNAL AUDIT UPDATE

 The Town Council’s year end accounts for 2018/19 were audited by the Internal Auditors – JDH Business Services Limited – on 10^th June 2019. An action plan, based on the above report is attached. (‘F’ – to follow)

To inform Members that, following approval by the Finance Committee at its meeting on 17^th June 2019, the Annual Governance and Accountability Return (AGAR), together with supporting documents, was sent to the Council’s external auditors (PFK Littlejohn)  2018. Members are asked to note the attached documents found at (‘G’).

8. BUDGET MONITORING (QUARTER 1 – 2019/20)

Members are asked to note the contents of the attached report, which sets out the budget position at the end of quarter one (2019/20 financial year). (‘H’)

 

9. GRANTS SUB-COMMITTEE

 For Members to consider the attached minutes from the Grants Sub-Committee meeting held on 10^th July 2019. The minutes are attached for ratification. (‘I’ – to follow)
